What is worksafe?

WorkSafe offers sex workers confidential support if they are victim of a crime and also gives the opportunity for women to report crimes anonymously, without their identity being revealed to the police. Anonymous reporting also helps to keep other sex workers safe.

Any women who have been victim of a crime whilst being involved in sex work can call or text the WorkSafe team if they want to talk to someone about the assault.  The information shared is confidential and women do not even have to provide their name.

The WorkSafe Team will provide support and listen.  They will also provide advice on safer working practices and ensure that other women are warned of any dangers.  If a woman wishes, the information can be passed on anonymously to the police, but only with the consent of the individual involved and there is no pressure to do so.
